It's Friday!!!!

I can not believe how quickly the week has gone this week.  We have had wonderful sunshine most days and Saffron is off school so we have been enjoying the Easter break.  I have found lots of time for scrapping and I am really enjoying having my creativity back.  This week Day is releasing Basic Bits which contains those essential elements that every dig scrapper needs in her stash.  These are so easy to re-colour and work on every layout.
I loved using these to create this fun layout for the 20 Wishes Word Up Challenge over at ScrapMatters.  I asked Saffron what she would wish for if she had 20 wishes it was wonderful being able to record what is important to her right now.  I also used the fabulous Spring Kissed to create my layout.
.
Have a great weekend everyone!!

More Inspiration

I am just loving being on Day's CT and having access to her wonderful designs.  I am feeling so motivated at the minute and I am working through the last few pages of my 2009 Disney album.  I completed another double page spread today using day's gorgeous Au Natural it was just perfect for our Swiss Family Robinson Tree House photos.
Here is the layout I created I just love the bright colours.
Again I used another fantastic template by Andrea she is just so talented, if you haven't checked out her blog you really should head over there she often has free templates to give away that you just do not want to miss!!

Some exciting news!

I got a lovely message from Day of Inspirations from Day inviting me to apply to join her CT.  I was so flattered that my layouts stood out for her in the ScrapMatters gallery.  Her designs are gorgeous; beautiful colors and lots of fabulous elements for clustering so how could I resist?
I chose Summer Woods, Way out West and Day's new release Grungy Bundle to create my first CT layouts for her and it was such an amazing kit to work with.
Isn't it a beautiful kit!  I fell in love with it instantly and it was just perfect for these photos of Saffron in the woods.
Nature Walk
Cowgirl

I used templates by Andrea to create these layouts.  She is the most amazing scrapper and her templates are lovely to work with.  She often has freebies on her blog so you should head over and check it out.

It is coming!!

I finished my 2007 Disney album quite a while ago but never got around to ordering it.  So this week I decided to edit the pages, re-scrap some of the really awful ones from my early days and get the book printed once and for all!!

This is the first page that I gave a makeover too.

For anyone that would like to see my completed book

I just need to complete our 2009 and 2010 photos before we go again in February!
