Happy 1st of July!!

The summer is well and truly upon us we started the week off with some lovely weather, bought and pool and put it up in the garden.  So of course now it has rained for the rest of the week!  However with only 3 weeks left until school breaks up I have been thinking about what i will do with our summer break.  We have some nice plans actually and a challenge at Funky Playground inspired me to scrap my to-so list.

Hopefully I will get through it all.

So now on to the gorgeous treats that my designers have in store for you this week. Everyone got busy this week so it's going to be a big post!

Look at these stunning templates; they are a little different to my usual style but when I tried them I just loved how my pages turned out.  The rest of the CT felt the same and you should check out the Frog Blog for some serious inspiration.

I have a bit of a thing for double page layouts; I scrap a lot of vacation photos and always need lots of space.  These were simply perfect.

My Wilderness Lodge layout uses the fantastic new release from LuvEwe designs and Trixie Scraps Great Wilderness Lodge.  I was so excited by this kit it was just perfect for our Disney lodge photos.

July Mix a Kit at ScrapMatters

The color palette this month is very summery it makes me think of ice cream.  Here are the parts from my designers.

Exciting News

Ok there is no way this news could keep until next Friday so I am putting in an extra post this week.  Guess who got accepted to CT for the fantastic Stolen Moments at ScrapMatters?  That's right MEEEEE!!! I am so excited I can barely believe it and I just have to keep pinching myself. 

Here is how the new line up looks.

What an honor to be scrapping with such wonderful designs and alongside such a talented bunch of ladies.  I can't wait to start sharing my creations with you.

New releases again!

As I write this weeks new release post it is thundering and raining in torrents outside my window and the temperature is freezing.  I actually put my heating back on today; you certainly would not think it is the middle of summer here in the UK!  Maybe thats why I ended up scrapping some wintery layouts this week.


Things are pretty quiet in digi-land I think everyone is enjoying the summer holidays hopefully in places warmer than here lol!

It's New Release Day!

I'm here with more goodies to tell you all about! Little Green Frog Designs released a pack of photoless templates this week. I'd been asking for a pack like this so I thrilled to be able to make a start on my pregnancy journal this week.  This is a project I've had in mind for a while now so it felt good to get started on it and Andrea's 'Talk to Me' templates were perfect.

Where do the weeks go!

My goodness it seems like only five minutes ago that I was typing last weeks new releases blog post!  I have had a crazy busy week, Glenn has been off work and we have had a full on week getting well overdue DIY done around the house and just spending time together.  We also had one of our biggest moments as parents so far as you will see in my layouts! So with all of these going on my scrapping time has been minimal this week which is unusual for me!  But I still found time to scrap with my designers new releases.


So first up more gorgeous templates from Andrea this week and I just wish I had more time to do these templates justice because they are stunning. With my hectic family life this week and trying to sneaky finish my fathers day brag book I just didn't get time to use both packs.  I will certainly be scrapping more layouts with these next when Glenn is back at work so watch this space!

I am enjoying my guest CT spot with Jen Balding her He Said She Said was perfect for scraping the momentous parental moment I was telling you about.  Yep thats right it was time for us to have "The Talk'! Despite being seriously scary it went well and I was proud of how we handled it.

I have also been continuing with the brag book pages with Glenn's Fathers day gift.  These pages use Little Green Frog Designs Mini Memories Template Pack and Trixie Scraps and Armina Designs Quality Time.

On Sunday I will be giving a tutorial on the Little Green Frog Designs Blog on how to put these pages together to create a hybrid brag book photo album.
